How to get into the games industry

Introduction

We're frequently asked about our game development process and what skills are needed to break into the industry. So we're pleased to be able to provide you with an insight into our company and the very talented staff that make our games.

We recognise from what you've said that it can be tough to know where to go and who to ask. We're hoping that this section will give an overview of what it's like to be part of the games industry, what some of our staff have said about their own experiences, and finally some other sources of information for you to explore.

With new technologies becoming available at a faster rate than ever before, it's a time of change - indeed, the industry seems to embrace new technology almost every day. With this growth potential our need to adapt and keep up to date with technological developments is endless. But one area remains constant: consumers demand quality, originality and a totally immersive experience.

Whilst the games industry is seen as a very attractive option, it must be said that it's not without its pressures. Determination and commitment to see the project through coupled with additional working hours during key stages of the project can be very demanding. So, have you got what it takes?
